Ahmed Quran – Memorize the Quran in one-to-one online lessons
A site where busy people book one-to-one online Quran lessons, with a student area and a dashboard for the teacher.
Overview
Ahmed Quran is the website of Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Saeed, who helps students memorize the Quran in one-to-one online lessons. Visitors can read about the Sheikh, see the monthly plans and book a free trial lesson. Students have their own area for lessons and their plan, and the teacher runs everything from his own dashboard. The site works in Arabic and English.
What was not working
The teacher needed one place to handle bookings, free trials, students and payments. Students are busy and live in different time zones, so picking a lesson time had to be easy. Two students must never get the same time slot.
What I built
Built a public site, a student area and a teacher dashboard. Visitors book a free trial in three steps and see the times in their own time zone. Students see their next lesson, join it with one click on Google Meet and book new lessons. The teacher manages bookings, open hours, trials, students, plans and payments from one dashboard. Notifications go out by email, WhatsApp and browser push, and the database blocks double bookings.
